TEXT JEREMIAH 51:20

“You are My battle-ax and weapons of war; For with you I will break the nations in pieces; With you I will destroy kingdoms;”

These words were written by the great prophet Jeremiah about 626 BC or a few years later. The one speaking these words is none other then the God of Israel who is telling the nations that doom awaits all those who seek to destroy the nation of Israel or my Jewish people. History tells us that God keeps His word. It is a sad fact that nations and individuals will not open the scriptures themselves but go on in their unbelief and reject the counsel of the living God.  To go against the nation of Israel is to, as they say, put a loaded gun to your own head and blow what little brains you have. In the book of Acts we have a pharaoh who warns the Jewish leaders not to hinder or stop the gospel from being preached or they will find themselves fighting against the living God. Acts 5:39; “but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it- lest you even be found to fight against God.” Two thousand years have gone by and the gospel is still being preached and will not be stopped as it is the work of God. The nation of Israel will never cease to exist as long as God is sitting on His throne and rules over the nations. Study the history of all the enemies of Israel and they have perished and now await the coming judgment that will cast them along with Satan into a devils hell. The practice of Anti-Semitism or hatred for the Jew will buy you a one way ticket to hell and endless suffering in a Christ less eternity. There are many warning in the Bible not to hate the Jew or seek his downfall as you will pay a heavy price for your rebellion against the God of Israel.  The Muslim world is being stirred up by its religious leaders that some how they will drowned Israel into the sea, five times the Arab nations have tried to get rid of the Jew and failed completely and will not succeed in their plans.  If I can use an expression, God is saying ‘over my dead body, you can try but you will fail.’ “No weapon that is formed against you will prosper,” Isaiah 54:17. The papers are filled with hatred and animosity against the Jew and the state of Israel. The world thinks they can get rid of the Jew and all will be well, and we can go on with life, but the Bible tells us otherwise, and that the living God will pour out his indignation on the nations of the earth for their hatred of Jew. A Jew is coming from Heaven and His name is Jesus the Christ, the Messiah of Israel and the Savior of the world. The answer to Anti-Semitism is the new birth and that is to believe Gods word and turning from sins, repenting and calling upon the name of the Lord. Timing is running out for this sin sick world and soon the day of Gods grace will be over. The Bible tells us that now is the time of salvation and not to put it off. Once we breathe our last upon this planet earth it is over for us and there are no second chances and we will face our judge in our sins and will be held accountable for all of our sins. We are either washed in the blood of the Lamb or we will be separated from the one who created us for all eternity. I leave you with these words from Romans 10:9; “Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” His name is Jesus!
