WHAT IS THE GREATEST QUESTION THAT HUMANITY HAS SOUGHT AN ANSWER FOR? WHAT HAPPENS TO ME WHEN I DIE?

 “AND AS IS IT IS APPOINTED UNTO MEN ONCE TO DIE, BUT AFTER THIS THE JUDGMENT.” HEBREWS 9:27

Of all the questions that men have asked, this is the most important question of all. We live in a world that is filled with death and dying each day of our lives from the time that we are able to understand we face death of friends and loved ones to our own demise. We many times cry out for an answer to what happens to us when we die. Is there an answer to this greatest question? The answer is yes, but it is not found in the teaching of men or the written works of the great philosophers. You can read all the great writings of the world religions and come up with feelings of hopelessness as you realize that they give no hope to the searching soul. The answer of humanism is there is no life beyond the grave and just live for this life as there is no other. Hinduism teaches that after death the soul of man goes into eternity and comes back to this planet as a direct entity, as an insect or an animal depending on how you lived. All the speculations that the world religions speak about is human reasoning and have no answers to the great mystery of death and what each one of us will face at the moment of our own demise. Only in the sacred scriptures do we find the answer to this, the greatest question of all questions. In all the writing of the world religious leaders you find that they all died and were never able to tell us about life beyond the grave, the only person that tasted death for all men and came back from the grave is Jesus the Messiah who appeared to 500 chosen witnesses and was able to say “I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore.” Revelations 1:18. If Jesus is the God Man, and the Bible teaches this, then He is the final authority on all subjects bar none. The resurrection of Jesus from the tomb that He was placed in is the very foundation stone that proves that He is who He said He is, and is the great I Am of the scriptures. Is there life beyond the grave? The answer again is yes. Every human being is made in the image of God and from the moment of conception will live forever and ever and will live with the God who created him in the blessed heaven or will live apart from the Lord in a place called hell. The choice is ours to make and that is to believe the word of God and to repent of our sins and to call upon the name of the Lord or to reject the person, Jesus, and His paying for all of our sins and choosing to pay for our own sins. You can not be neutral about the Lord Jesus Christ as He is the Lord from heaven or the greatest liar that ever lived. Many today are reading the Da Vinci Code or have seen the movie, but will not read the Bible because they have made up their minds to believe the teachings of men. The reason for this is found in the gospel of John where Jesus speaks of men not wanting to come to the light because their deeds were evil. John 3:9: “That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.” I leave you with these words from the lips of the Son of God:  He that come unto me I will in no way cast out. Salvation is of the human will, we are all free moral agents and the final decision is ours to make. Jesus is Lord of all or and not at all the Jesus of the Da Vinci Code. What is your decision? Heaven or hell?
