The Holocaust will it happen again?

Text Jeremiah 30 verse 7

”Alas! For that day is great, So that none is like it; And it is the time of Jacob’s trouble, But he shall be saved out of it.”

In all of Jewish history their never has been a time of Jewish suffering such as the time of the holocaust. Much has been written about this time period in Jewish history and for all that has been written it can never fully explain what it must have been like to be a Jew, and to go through the agony of this time period.

Hitler the leader of the third Reich began his persecution of the Jews during the early nineteen thirties and continued for nearly ten years until He ended his life about nineteen forty five by suicide. About 6 million of my Jewish people perished at the hands of this demon possessed madman and those that survived were to live with the memory of this the rest of their lives from the beginning of recorded history and human depravity to the cruelty that has taken place.

Upon planet earth to our day, there never has been anything to equal the holocaust. The great question is why would a particular people be selected for destruction and that many of the nations of the world who knew about the labor camps as they were called never lifted a finger to save my Jewish people from annihilation. What can we learn from it?  It would surprise many in our world today that even though the Jews comprise less then one percent of the worlds population they have been such a blessing to mankind. Many of the great discoveries in medicine and science that brought an end to human suffering were discovered by Jewish scientists and doctors in the area of polio, vaccines, and countless other benefits to mankind. In Genesis 12 verse 3 we have these wonderful words…”I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you.” History has proven the truth of Gods holy word that God is not a man that He should lie. Every nation that has sought to destroy the Jew has fallen under the wrath of the Almighty God and has passed on in to oblivion. The thinking of many in Israel today is that Israel will never permit the whole sale destruction of the Jewish people again, yet to leave God out of the picture is to bring doom upon the nation of Israel. The greatest question that my Jewish people need to ask is Israel looking to its military might or is it looking to its leader for an answer to its survival. Apart from divine revelation there is no answer to all the suffering that has come upon my Jewish people. The Jews are called the people of the book yet how few read it or even believe its message. You cannot separate Israel from the book called the Bible or Gods holy word and yet Israel is looking to human wisdom for an answer to all they are facing in this world that is filled with anti-Semitism. God is not dead and He longs for Israel to turn to him in all their suffering. The question is will Israel go through another holocaust and the answer is yes. The great tribulation as spoken of in many parts of the Old Testament will cover the whole earth and will center itself in Israel and the city of Jerusalem. All nations will seek to destroy Israel but will not succeed as the God of Israel will come back in a moment of time and deliver the Jewish people from total annihilation and set up his glorious kingdom.

What is the summation of this paper or message and the answer is found in Gods holy word and not in the men’s devices or wisdom. These are some of the scriptures that deal with the nation of Israel in the last days number one is that national repentance must take place with the nation and with my Jewish people. In the book of Zechariah we have these words “they shall look upon me who they have pierced” and “they shall mourn for Him as one mourned for his only son”…. Zechariah 12 verse 10. This mourning is the realization that only one Jew in all of Israel’s history fulfilled the great prophecies of the old testament and is spoken of in Isaiah 53, and He is none other then Jesus of Nazareth. The veil that has been upon the nation of Israel for almost 2000 years will be removed by the God that created the nation.

When Israel begins to pray to the God that created them and mend their Hearts and not their garments then their glorious Messiah will come to deliver them and to set up his glorious kingdom. In the book of Daniel we have one called the son of man coming to the ancient of days and an everlasting kingdom being given to him. This name son of man was used by the Lord Jesus Christ more then any other name and refers to the humanity of Israel’s Messiah. I will leave you with these words from the book of Romans chapter 10 verse 9 “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
