Thursday, Aug 21... Welcome!  We fly into Newark (EWR) from various locations around the country: ETA about 4pm or earlier. Do not arrive later! Our chartered coach takes us to the Famous Catskill Mountains! Look for Rip Van Winkle! Should be good sightseeing on the way! We arrive at the Hudson Valley Resort Hotel in time for dinner and our Welcome Party!  You’ll love this hotel!  It is a wonderful resort in the Catskills with indoor & outdoor swimming pools, outdoor tennis, (golf, horseback riding, indoor tennis - slight extra charge), saunas, health club, several dance clubs, many dance classes (private lessons available), shows & entertainment, 3 gourmet meals a day and more!  Dance tonight!  Friday starts a big dance weekend here and we’ll be meeting dancers from all over the country! Welcome to the Stardust Dance weekend! Welcome to the Catskills!

Friday, Aug 22... Take your pick of the many activities.  There are over 50 dance workshops, many running simultaneously in several different rooms.  Go from one class to another for free! But don't miss my classes! Or I throw you off the bus!  Plus, there are several rooms strictly for dancing!  Also, dancing daily in the dining room during lunch & dinner!  Plus, champagne reception today!  WOW!

Saturday, Aug 23.. More classes, dancing, gourmet meals, activities!  Dress up for our evening cocktail party; open bar with hot & cold hors d’oeuvres. Tonight is Show Time!  You’ll love it! This is our last night here at Stardust.

Sunday, Aug 24... Our last fun day at Stardust Weekend! More classes in the morning and then our last Fantastic Lunch-For-The-Bunch! Check out of the hotel after lunch from 12-1pm.  Then we board our charted coach for another ride through the scenic Catskills to NYC!  Check into our Edison Hotel.  This landmark hotel is where George Burns & Gracie Allen stayed during their vaudeville days.  Recently renovated, it has a charming lobby and the best location... the Heart & Soul of Broadway and Theaters!  Welcome to the City of Lights... New York, New York! Perhaps we can take the Grey Line City Tour of NYC! Dinner is on our own. Freshen up and change into your dancing duds for a fun dance. Welcome to Big Apple! In place of old, famous Roseland, there are many other options we can dance  including Pierre Dulane Studio, 42nd Street Studio, Marc Ballroom, Tavern on the Green, etc.

Monday, Aug 25... 7-10a...Times for our included daily breakfast! Let's book a Broadway Show at Half Price Ticket Booth! Today is our City Tour! RSVP for this FUN TOUR! Only about  Enjoy the City Sights... Statue of Liberty, Radio City Music Hall; Empire State Building; Macy’s; Ground Zero; horse & carriage ride through Central Park (horsing around will cost you extra) and finishing at Tavern-on-the-Green for lunch...  (Insist on the magnificent Crystal Room - reservations a must!); Times Square, great theater shows through the ½ price ticket booth at 47th & Broadway; Rosie O’Grady’s, 52nd & 7th Avenue, Grand Lady, the Statue of Liberty! Back to our hotel for short walk to Marriott Marquis and elevators to 8th floor. Enjoy a fantastic dinner (included) in the Encore restaurant’s Time Square Terrace.

Tuesday, Aug 26... Hotel breakfast (included).  Another free day today!  Let's book another Broadway Show! Here are some spare time ideas...  Shop till you drop! Ask Mardi to help us check great discounts at Jewelry District! Plus great buys at H Stern Jewelers at 645 Fifth Avenue Olympic Tower! Plus; have lunch at the exquisite & pricey Palm Court of the Plaza Hotel (a Donald Trump hotel).  Optional...  Our chartered bus takes us to Dance 12-4pm at Starlight Dance Center, a beautiful ballroom in New Jersey @ $12 each. 201-235-9835.  This ballroom has a wonderful floor, great music and friendly dancers!  Dinner on our own.  Restaurants are available in the Marriott Marquis or there are many restaurants around our hotel (Steak House, Chinese, etc).  There is an excellent Italian Restaurant, Carmine’s, West 44th Street between Broadway & 8^th but reservations are a must... 221-3800. Wednesday, Aug 27… Depart hotel. Walk to Greyline Bus Stop 47th & Broadwway. CBS bus will pick us up for Early Show!  I’ll bring pink sign! You bring biggest smiles! Includes coffee & doe nuts!  7-10a…Breakfast (included). Free day! 3 Hour Sail around Manhattan? Only about $29! Pier 83 W 42nd St for Circle Line! Visit the nearby aircraft carrier after tour. Shop-aholics! On your own or after cruise, check discounts at jewelry district: Bon Voyage Dance at Columbus 72! Great band and DJ music! Say bye-bye to fond memories of New York City & the Big Apple!

Thursday, Aug 28... Free morning to enjoy our last Taste of the Big Apple! After lunch, our coach departs our hotel for Newark Airport and our flights home. Depart from Newark about 3p.What a great Double Treat!
