We had a thrilling tour of France & Italy! But we had some bad problems with our train service with Eurorail!
The high speed train from Paris to Montecarlo was wonderful!
However, Eurorail hired buses to take us from Montecarlo to Milan and the drivers did not know where they were going! They hired a company that didn't know what they were doing!
We arrived so late that most of our seniors missed the train! We were able to get the next train but most seniors had to stand for the ride since we lost our reserved seats we paid for! And no refund for these seats! Same thing happened from Rome to Venice! There was a train strike in Rome which caused us to take a later train to Venice & most seniors had to stand again! Receipts were signed by rail officials but Eurorail does not want to refund for reserved seats, even though it was their fault, since tickets state they are non-refundable!
This is how they treat senior travelers!
