Even though her cell phone has a 949 area code, Patricia lives in Long Beach & teaches at our school. She has been teaching as an independent dance instructor since 1991, working with beginning through advanced level singles, couples and groups, predominantly in American Style Smooth & Rhythm, East & West Coast Swing, Salsa, Country Western and Night Club partner dancing. Her teaching style employs a combination of school figures and creative variations, utilizing technique and styling from both American and International dance styles. Patricia also works with wedding couples and is available for parties and demos. Until recently, Patricia taught primarily at the Avant Garde Ballroom in Newport Beach, California and other locations in South Orange County. She has recently relocated to Long Beach where she now teaches three days per week. Patricia is also employed as Associate Professor at Saddleback and Irvine Valley Colleges where she teaches non-dancing art subjects.
