the annual Viennese Ball season will reach its peak, ballrooms in palaces,
castles and deluxe old-world style hotels will be filled with never ending waltz
and handsome tuxedos.
And for many they will be filled with the happiness and excitement of a

USA for Austria! From NY, the
flight is non-stop to Vienna via Austrian Airlines.
LAX flight may be with
British Airways to Vienna with one stop in London.
Thursday, February 15 …Arrive in charming Vienna (Wien)! NY departures
arrive about 9am. LAX departures
arrive about 6pm. Schedules may change. Coaches escort us to our first-class
Ananas Hotel. DON’T NAP!

Friday, February 16 …Today we experience exciting Vienna with a half-day
tour! Perhaps the Schoenbrunn Palace, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, and Mozarthouse.
Then REST! Tonight is the Coffee Ball at the Incredible Hoffburg Imperial
Palace! It starts late and finishes late. There are many rooms in the Palace and
you can go from room to room, from adventure to adventure! Indulge yourself!
Saturday, February 17 … Our bus picks us up early at our hotel. Today
we are traveling to picturesque Salzburg. You’ll love it! Be thrilled by the
“Sound of Music”, filmed near Salzburg and “you are there! Lunch is on our
own. Shops may close at noon today. Perhaps an optional ball tonight, the
amazing Magician’s Ball at the Hilton. Ladies wear your mask. It’s “Ladies
Choice! HAVE A BALL!
Sunday, February 18 …Sleep in or catch the Boys Choir at Mass at 9:15am
in a small chapel. Also, the Spanish Riding School may have a performance at
10:45am. All shops are closed on Sundays. We may tour the beautiful Vienna Woods
this afternoon from 2pm to 6pm. Museums, coffee shops and other sights are open.
Monday, February 19 …Free day to sightsee or relax. Have a chocolate
Sacher Torte with whipped cream. If your budget is tight, instead of spending a
lot of money for the Spanish Riding School, we can visit the training of the
horses. It takes place also at the Imperial Palace Tuesday through Saturday 10am
to 12 noon. Or perhaps we can visit the Crown Jewels.
Tuesday, February 20 …Today we leave early for our incredible Budapest
Tour. It is such an exciting city to visit, to shop, to Experience!
Wednesday, February 21 …Free day to enjoy Wonderful Vienna!
Thursday, February 22 …Sleep
in late! Leisure day. Tonight is the thrilling Opernball! It’s absolutely
breathtaking! The Vienna Opera House is stunning itself! And just imagine the
world’s most beautiful music and dancing! INCREDIBLE! And you are there!
Friday, February 23 …Sleep
in late! Leisure day. Tonight is an optional ball you may attend on your
own…The BonBon Ball at the Konzerthaus, which in itself is very nice to see.
So enjoy!
Saturday, February 24 …Tonight
is the Lawyers Ball at the Hofburg Imperial Palace! Enjoy.
Sunday, February 25 …Leisure
day. Today is “Faschingssonntag” (Carnival Sunday) and there could be a mass
parade on the Ringstrasse. Enjoy your last day in Vienna! Let’s get together
for a farewell toast to Wien!
Monday, February 26 …CALIFORNIA,
HERE WE COME! And New York too! Today we fly home and arrive the same day! What
a thrilling experience! What beautiful memories! And you’ve attended the
world’s most spectacular ballroom dance…the famous Vienna Opera Ball!
